Celebrating Sue: G.M. Mechanical's Employee of the Month

At G.M. Mechanical, we take immense pride in our remarkable team, whose unwavering dedication and exceptional skills consistently exceed expectations. Their outstanding customer service, problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and unparalleled expertise in their respective fields make us the luckiest company in the Foothills region.

Today, we are thrilled to announce our esteemed Employee of the Month, Sue, a valued member of our community who has called High River home since 2021.

Meet Sue, an Apprentice Electrician

Sue is an apprentice electrician who graces our workplace with her infectious, can-do attitude and radiant smile. We had the pleasure of welcoming her to our team in 2021 when she moved to High River and embarked on her electrical apprenticeship journey with us.

Since then, Sue has wholeheartedly embraced our customer-first mindset and demonstrated an unwavering work ethic that inspires us all. She finds joy in tackling new tasks every day, employing creative problem-solving techniques, and engaging with our valued customers.

When asked about her favourite aspects of her work, Sue candidly shared her fondness for lunchtime and the end of the workday – a sentiment we can all relate to! Beyond her professional endeavours, Sue's vibrant personality shines through her diverse hobbies. When she's not impressing us and our customers, she indulges in horseback riding, taxidermy, and weightlifting, showcasing her multifaceted interests.

Why Sue Chose G.M. Mechanical

Curious about her decision to join our company, we inquired, and Sue cited the positive work environment and her exceptional experience with our journeymen electricians as the driving factors.

"We have fun at work every day! G.M. is like a big family. My journeymen are patient in teaching me and expose me to a variety of scenarios," she shared, echoing the sentiment that resonates throughout our organization.

Sue's Dreams for the Future

Looking ahead, Sue aspires to obtain her journeyman ticket and delve deeper into electrical service work. We are incredibly proud of the remarkable progress she has made thus far, and her ambition inspires us all. Canada's growing need for skilled electricians and the increasing enrollment in apprentice programs underscore the importance of nurturing talents like Sue's. We are honoured to have her as part of our team and our "family" at G.M. Mechanical.
