Meet Shayne, Service Manager at G.M. Mechanical

Shayne joined G.M. Mechanical in 2012, bringing with him over 25 years of experience in the trade. Shayne lives in High River with his wife and has been a part of the Foothills community for over 40 years. He has deep ties to the area, as all three of his kids have grown up here as well.

According to Climate Experts Canada, HVAC systems play an important role in maintaining comfortable and safe indoor environments. Shayne’s work helps us ensure that people’s heating, cooling, and plumbing systems operate efficiently, which is essential for both residential and commercial buildings.

Shayne’s favourite part of his job is the feeling he gets when he can provide the resources to help people during challenging times. Clients often find themselves in crisis situations, whether it's a water leak or no heat in the middle of winter. Shayne's ability to calm them down and assure them that help is on the way is truly remarkable.

His dedication to resolving issues efficiently make him an invaluable asset to not just our team, but our community too. Shayne's passion for helping others shines through in every interaction, and clients appreciate his friendly demeanour and commitment to providing top-notch service, even in the most stressful situations.

Shayne’s Personal Side

Outside of work, Shayne enjoys a variety of hobbies, including golfing, fishing, and travelling. You’ll often see him at the Dawgs games every Summer.  Interestingly, Shayne has a long history with G.M. Mechanical, having previously worked as a plumber and air conditioning technician about 20 years ago.
